It was a coup for new swimwear label Surface too Deep when it was invited to prance its bikinis and swimsuits on the catwalk at Australasia's most prestigious fashion event, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia, next week in Sydney.
Surface too Deep will reveal 20 garments amid the show with three strong Australian swimwear brands, including Skye and Staghorn, a sporty, sexy swimwear range, and Gypsea, a Western Australian, Balinese-inspired brand. Says Abraham: "We're hoping that through this show, we will be able to secure more Australian stockists and international buyers."
Surface too Deep is a luxury range of women's swimwear, with styles that are both directional and wearable. The limited-edition signature prints are designed to be timeless and pretty. "We try to create a shape for everybody and for every personality, thong bikini" she says.
